It has a new overlay that duplicates the original -60 / +60 amp scale, but has been modified to read 10 / 15 on a volt scale. These meters are calibrated to read centered at 12.5VDC, so you can tell at a glance what your charging system is doing - to the right of center is charging, to the left of center indicates discharge. The G1XV also comes with a lens with the word "Amps" removed. I will supply a small "Volts" label that you can apply to the gauge hood if desired. If you do not send your lens in I will deduct $5.00 and you will NOT receive a reworked lens. Note: The pointer will NOT be centered like an Amp gauge without power. Cores: 67-70 Cougar AMP meters: A usable core has a face with normal wear & tear. The metal case must be intact and have both posts with the insulator intact. The pointer is not bent or missing. 67-68 Cougar AMP meter lens: A usable core has normal wear & tear, is not milky and has no deep scratches or gouges. Other AMP meters: The core you send is the meter you get back. Non Cougar meters are NOT refaced, so make sure that the face is in good shape.
