Installed the kit last night. Took about two hours, most of which was spent removing the horns and battery to permit access for mounting the breaker and the modules. Initially I only connected the driver\'s side to see if there was a visible difference in the lights. There definitely was, the light appeared to be more white with less yellow. Then I connected the passenger side and could also notice a difference. Haven\'t driven it yet at night but I am sure it will be a great improvement. Next move will be to convert to halogen.
I can send you some pics of the installation if you are interested. Mounting to the radiator supports makes the modules almost unnoticeable.

Outstanding job on the amp to volt meter conversion for my 66 Cyclone GT and my 77 Cougar wagon. You would never know it has been done. You make life easy for us electrically challenged car guys.

Bob-
I just wanted to let you know that I received the headlamp relay setup on Friday. You\'ve really done a fabulous job putting the kit together. Saturday morning, in about a half hour, I installed it. WOW! What a difference. My headlights AND dash lights are much, much brighter now, and my voltmeter now reads 14 with the lights on!
Thanks for everything!

Bob thanks for the 3 wire tach for my Mustang looks and works great. I had a non tach dash that I had modified along time ago to install a mechanical tach. The mechanical tach worked great but was noisy and required lube to keep it quite. I removed the mechanical tach and I made my own tach mount for the new electronic 3 wire tach by removing an old speedometer mounting sheet metal panel from an old dash I had and modifying it to accept the 3 wire tach. I made my own wiring harness with a Molex connector to tie into my MSD 6A box with my shift light and all works fine. Thanks Bob!

I have installed two of the \'67 / \'68 voltmeters and I am very pleased with the parts. I have one of the 8000 RPM tachs that will be going into another of my Cougars soon. Thanks for the attention to detail. My next purchase will be the dash overlay kit, and then the relay headlight harness.

Installing the tach was a piece of cake! I made a tach harness, so you can unplug it from the cluster.
I am REALLY impressed with the quality of the tach, and next on my wish list is your headlight relay setup.
Thanks for providing this valuable service to the Cougar community!

After multiple failed attempts of hooking up my factory tachometer to my MSD 6AL box, including using a MSD adapter, I was pleased to learn that Bob has re-engineered the factory tachs to wire up like an aftermarket unit. I have one of the very first 6,000 RPM tachs installed in my 68 Cougar XR-7 and it has worked flawlessly for the last four years or so.
Prior to that, I used to be able to remove and install my instrument cluster in my sleep. Since then I have not had to remove it even once. I would recommend any of the RCCI products to anyone wishing to have a factory looking piece that operates using modern internal components.

I put the 8000 tach in my 69 XR7 when they first came out then a volt gauge. Most recently I installed the full relay kit. All fantastic products! Thanks Bob!
